THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO.538 of 2015 ORDER:

Upon hearing both sides, at the admission stage, the following order is passed:

Having regard to the nature of the allegations made in the charge sheet, it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings against the accused. He has to face the trial. However, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner/accused is now prosecuting Ph.D and regular attendance in the Court for every adjournment will hinder his Ph.D work, the appearance of the petitioner/accused is dispensed with, except on the occasions when the trial Court requires his attendance. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
