The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and process the application, dated 30.12.2017, submitted by the petitioners through Mee-Seva for regularization of the encroachments over the Government lands by way of dwelling units in terms of G.O.Ms.No.388, Revenue (Assignment-I) Department, dated 24.08.2017.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on written instructions, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that the petitioners have encroached on to the valuable Government land and constructed A.C. sheet roofed houses with an ulterior motive to grab the valuable Government land and hence, both the petitioners are not entitled to the relief claimed in the Writ Petition. 3.

Be that as it may, it appears that no order came to be passed on the application made by the petitioners in the month of December, 2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass orders on the application, dated 30.12.2017, made by the petitioners seeking regularization in terms of G.O.Ms.No.388, dated 24.08.2017, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, any steps that may be taken by the respondents for dispossession of the petitioners from the subject property shall be in accordance with law. 5.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
