HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No:2742 OF 2014 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in stopping the sales at the petrol pump belonging to the petitioner; in issuing show cause notice and suspending the license of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue sale of its products at the petrol pump without any hindrance.

When this matter has been taken up, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the show cause notice impugned herein, the petitioner gave reply and the matter in question has already been closed and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
