This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking verbatim the following relief: "... to issue a writ, Order or Direction particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in not taking any action on petitioner's representation (Appeal) dated 23-1-2016 is illegal arbitrary and contrary to the provision Section 5 of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and Rule 15 of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989 and consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation (Appeal) dated 23-1-2016 for entering names for Petitioners duly canceling the entries made in favour of 4th respondent as per the provisions Section 5 of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and Rule 15 of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the appeal, dated 23.01.2016, filed by the petitioners, which is pending consideration before the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Adoni Division, Adoni, Kurnool District, may be directed to be disposed of in accordance with law, at the earliest.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that as the report was already sent by the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar, Kosigi Mandal, Kosigi, Kurnool District, to the 2nd respondent, a direction may be given to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Adoni Division, Adoni, Kurnool District, to dispose of the appeal, dated 23.01.2016, filed by the petitioners in accordance with law after hearing all the concerned as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) to six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _______________________________ JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR October 11, 2018.
