HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36349 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the respondents herein not to interfere with the life, liberty and property of the petitioner. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that when the officials of R & B and revenue department tried to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner over the subject lands, he filed W.P. No.35637 of 2016 and this Court by interim order dated 21.10.2016, directed the respondents not to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner over the subject property, without following due process of law. While so, the 4th respondent called the petitioner to get his original title documents pertaining to the subject property. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the police are interfering with the civil disputes. 4.

Considering facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"Respondent Nos.1 to 4 are directed not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioner more particularly, in any of the civil disputes in respect of the subject property. At the same time, this order will not stand in the way of the above respondents to proceed with the investigation, if any case is registered against the petitioner for cognizable offence."

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
