ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that since writ petition is filed questioning the notification dated 18.3.2015 inviting tenders for the period from 1.4.2015 to 31.3.2016 and the respondents are taking the vehicles on contract basis on year to year basis, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is closed. However, if the petitioner intends to participate in the auction for getting a work order for hiring his vehicle, he is at liberty to approach the respondents by way of a representation. Thereupon, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks thereafter. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
