HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U. DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION NO.33108 OF 2016 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to download the application form for admission into Medical/BDS course for the academic year 2016-17, and in not issuing the application form in the 5th respondent college, as arbitrary and illegal. Sri Tadi Nageswar Rao, Learned Standing Counsel for the NTR University of Health Sciences, has placed before us a copy of the receipt issued by the 5th respondent on 28.09.2014 accepting payment of the application fee from the petitioner herein. Learned Standing Counsel would submit that, since the petitioner was able to down load the form from the website and his application has already been registered in the 5th respondent-college, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive. Recording the aforesaid submission of the Learned Standing Counsel, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No costs.
