HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 9706 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not implementing the Presidential Order, namely, the A.P.

Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitments) Order, 1975, as arbitrary and illegal. A consequential direction to effect zonalization in the matters of recruitments and transfers of the teachers working under the schools run by the 2nd respondent Socieity, is also sought.

Since the petitioners had retired from service, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and, accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
