G.Santosh Reddy S/O. G. Raja Reddy, v. The Commissioner Of Police
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.24499 of 2013 ORDER:
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent in investigating into Cr.No.172/2013 though registered on 16-6-2013 pursuant to referring the private complaint filed by the petitioner before the Court of learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to complete investigation and to file the charge sheet/final report before the concerned Magistrate." Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the registration of Crime No.
172 of 2013, investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed on 27.09.2013. After taking cognizance of the offence, the case was taken on file as C.C.No.818 of 2013. After trial, the matter ended in acquittal on 22.07.2015. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 11.11.2019.
