HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 37474 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.2 in disposing of the representation sent by the petitioner on 31.05.2017, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional. 3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 31.05.2017 seeking necessary corrections in the revenue records, and for deletion of the subject land from the prohibited list.

4) The Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the petitioner may be directed to file a fresh representation to the respondents, in which event the same will be considered in accordance with law.

5) Giving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation seeking necessary corrections in the revenue records and deletion of the subject land from the prohibited list, the present writ petition is disposed of. In the event of such a

representation being made by the petitioner, the authorities shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law as early as possible. No order as to costs.
