This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking verbatim the following relief: "... to issue a Writ or Order or Direction more so a Writ in the nature of Mandamus to declare the inaction of the 2nd Respondent in not disposing of the stay petition and the Revision Petition No.F3/923/2018 filed by the petitioner as arbitrary and illegal and consequentially to direct the 2nd Respondent to dispose of Revision Petition as early as possible and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case." 2.

At the time, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to respondent No.2 to dispose of the stay petition and the revision petition filed by the petitioner at the earliest.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of five (5) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the stay petition filed in the said revision petition is also pending consideration, respondent No.2 is directed to pass appropriate orders in the stay petition, in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, Status quo obtaining as on today to be maintained in respect of the property in dispute.
