ORDER

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.175 of 2014 on the file of Kalluru Police Station, Khammam District, registered for the offences under Sections 420 and 506 IPC, against petitioner/accused.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner was acquitted vide order dated 18.11.2016 in C.C.No.60 of 2015 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Sathupally, Khammam District, and therefore, no further orders need be passed in this criminal petition and the criminal petition may be dismissed as infructuous.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the criminal petition, shall stand dismissed.
