Veerla Narayana , Vadla Narayana, v. The State Of Telarigana,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.17440 of 2015 ORDER:
Alleging inaction on the part of the 3rd respondent in considering the application dated 20.03.2015 for correction of entries in the revenue records in respect of the land in Sy.No.324/1 situated at Mancherial Shivar and Mandal, Adilabad, the present writ petition is filed.
The petitioner states that his father was the protected tenant over the land admeasuring Ac.10-30 gts., in Sy.No.324/1 situated at Mancherial Shivar and Mandal, Adilabad District and he was in possession of the said land. After the death of his father, the petitioner's name is incorporated in the revenue records as his legal heir. However, in the possessor column of adangal/pahani, it was wrongly recorded as Ac.8-00 gts., instead of Ac.10-30 gts. The petitioner, therefore, sought correction of entries in the revenue records and he filed an application on 20-03-2015 before the 3rd respondent in that regard. The petitioner states that there is no response form the 3rd respondent.
Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. Since the application dated 20.03.2105 for correction of entries is pending with the 3rd respondent for the last more than three months, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the 3rd respondent to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders expeditiously preferably within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
