Petitioners' grievance is that the appeals preferred by them being Appeal Nos.C/360, 361, 362, 363 and 364 of 2010 against a letter issued by the 4th respondent dt.02.12.2009 are pending consideration before the 3rd respondent and that the 3rd respondent is not passing any orders thereon. 2.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that the 3rd respondent will decide the appeals filed by the petitioners within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioners.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to decide the appeals filed by the petitioners within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
