HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 37360 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the first respondent in not passing interim orders in Revision No.E2/ 1437/ 2018 filed against proceedings No.A/ 87/ 2016 since 14.02.2018 leading to passing of consequential orders such as canceling the pattadar pass book and title deeds of the petitioner, amendment of 1-B register etc., as illegal and violative of provisions of R.O.R.Act, 1971.

2) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that though the revision was filed on 14.02.2018, till date no orders are passed either in the revision or in the stay application filed along with the revision. 3) The Government Pleader for Revenue (TG) would submit that a direction may be issued to the concerned for an early disposal of the stay application.

3) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent to pass orders in the stay application filed along with the revision in accordance with law, after hearing all the concerned, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.

4) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
