Bhanu) The learned counsel for the appellant stated that the cause in this appeal does not survive for adjudication in view of the fact that the appeal is directed only against the provisional assessment order, whereas the competent authority had already passed the final assessment order. Recording the said submission, this appeal is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this appeal, shall also stand dismissed.
