Petitioner prays for Mandamus declaring the seizure of Auto Trolley (goods carriage) bearing No.TS 04 UB 0750 under panchanama dated 21.10.2016 as contrary to law and unconstitutional. 2.

On 31.10.2016, petitioner represented to the second respondent/ Joint Collector for release of the vehicle. This Court is of the view that since a request for release of vehicle is pending with the second respondent, a direction can be issued to dispose of the representation dated 31.10.2016. Hence, the wit petition is disposed of by this order:

The second respondent/ Joint Collector is directed to pass orders on the representation dated 31.10.2016 within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Petitioner is granted liberty to communicate copy of this order to second respondent. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
