Petitioner in this Writ Petition has challenged the show cause notice dt.16.06.2016 issued by the 2nd respondent proposing to initiate action against the petitioner under Section 24(3)(a) of the A.P. Education Act, 1982 (for short 'the Act').
2. In the said show cause notice it is alleged that the petitioner had not produced relevant records relating to alleged misappropriation of TDF by the management of the petitionerCollege.
3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the entire record has been submitted to the Office of the 2nd respondent in the year 2010 and that no records are available with the petitioner-College.
4. In view of the fact that only a show cause notice is challenged in this Writ Petition and since the jurisdiction of the 2nd respondent as competent authority under the Act to initiate action under Section 24(3)(a) of the Act is not in dispute, petitioner is granted liberty to submit an explanation to the said show cause notice informing the 1st respondent of the above fact within two
(02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, the 2nd respondent shall not pass any orders pursuant to the impugned show cause notice.
5. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
6. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall
stand dismissed.
