THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRL.P.M.P.No.659 of 2014 & CRIMINAL PETITION No.877 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. is filed by the accused seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2188 of 2014 pending on the file of III Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderabad for the offences punishable under Sections 452, 323 and 506 IPC. Pending the matter, both the counsel filed Crl.P.M.P.No.659 of 2014 stating that the parties have entered into compromise and therefore, they prayed to quash the impugned proceedings.

Both the parties as well as their counsel have signed on the affidavit annexed to Crl.P.M.P.No.659 of 2014. The parties, who are present in the Court, also affirmed the same. A perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the petition goes to show that the matter was settled between the parties. In view of the amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties no purpose would be served in keeping the proceedings pending. Hence, the Crl.P.M.P.No.659 of 2014 is ordered and the compromise is recorded. Consequent thereto, the Crl.P. is allowed and the impugned proceedings in C.C.No.2188 of 2014 pending on the file of III Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderabad are hereby quashed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this revision shall stand closed. _________________ RAJA ELANGO,J 17.02.2016.
