HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO CONTEMPT CASE NOS.2687, 2688, 2693, 2694, 2695, 2704, 2705 AND 2707 OF 2018 C O M M O N O R D E R These Contempt Cases have been filed by the petitioners alleging violation of the order dated 13.07.2017 in W.P.No.23142 of 2017, wherein this Court had directed the respondents to keep 8 posts of 'Mining Graduate Trainee' unfilled until further orders. 2.

Though after the said order was passed, another Notification was issued on 27.08.2018 to fill up the said vacancies along with 18 other vacancies, it is the stand of the respondents that there was a bona fide mistake and after realizing that there is an interim order granted by this Court on 13.07.2017 in W.P.No.23142 of 2017, a Corrigendum was issued on 23.10.2018 mentioning that 8 posts of 'Mining Graduate Trainee' (Men only) (E-2 Grade) (Internal) were not being filled up and only the balance 18 vacancies would be filled up. An unconditional apology has also been tendered by the respondents.

In this view of the matter, since the mistake on the part of the respondents appears to be bona fide, I am not inclined to punish the respondents.

Accordingly, the Contempt Cases are dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in all the cases shall also stand dismissed. No costs.
