THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.11899 OF 2015 Date:30.04.2015 Between:

Ravulu Ashok .. Petitioner And The State of Andhra Pradesh, rep., by its Principal Secretary, Home Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad and others .. Respondents

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.11899 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard.

Complaining that the respondents have not yet completed investigation in Crime No.261 of 2014 on the file of Dachepalli Police Station, Guntur District, the present Writ Petition is filed.

The instructions of learned Government Pleader for Home, however, show that the said crime was investigated by examining as many as nine witnesses. It is further stated that the injured person died on 17.12.2014 during investigation and thereafter, post mortem report was received and report of the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Guntur, is also received on 27.03.2015. It is also stated that final report of the Medical Officer is awaited. The instructions further show that the involvement of A-1 to A-6 prima facie is evident from the investigation, but against A7 to A-16 as no case is made out, the Superintendent of Police, Guntur District, accorded permission to delete their names as sought for. It is stated that since investigation is completed, after receiving final report from the Medical Officer and after completing any further investigation, appropriate final report be filed before the competent authority.

In view of the same, no further directions are called for. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ____________________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J 30.04.2015 KH
