ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging G.O.Rt.No.364, Youth Advancement Tourism & Culture (YS) Department, dated 11.4.2014 issued by the 1st respondent terminating the petitioner as Chairman, Managing Committee, SETWIN, Hyderabad.

The petitioner was appointed as Chairman of the 2nd respondent-organization along with three nonofficials vide G.O.Rt.No.499, dated 26.6.2013. The said term was extended by another period of two years vide G.O.Rt.No.960, dated 6.12.2013, from 27.6.2014 to 26.6.2016. When G.O.Rt.No.364, dated 11.4.2014 was issued terminating the appointment of the petitioner and three others with immediate effect, this writ petition was filed.

This Court by order dated 15.4.2014 granted interim suspension of the said G.O.Rt.No.364, dated 11.4.2014 and the said order is continuing till today. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submits that since the extended period had come to an end on 26.06.2016, there is no order extending the term of the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioner to agitate his rights with regard to the period he holds the post consequent to the order of interim suspension granted by this Court, in a separate proceedings. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
