THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE Nos.2690 AND 2723 OF 2018 COMMON ORDER:

Learned Special Government Pleader produced the proceedings by which the amount payable to the petitioner in full compliance of the directions issued by this Court in W.P.(TR). Nos.1 and 2 of 2017, dated 09.08.2017, are paid. Learned counsel for petitioner disputes on quantum of amount paid. 2.

Since there was no direction issued by the Court to pay particular quantum of amount, it cannot be said that amount arrived at by the respondents is not in compliance of the directions of this Court. Therefore, the Contempt Cases are closed. However, if the petitioner disputes the quantum of amount payable by the respondents, it is always open to him to work out the remedies as available in law. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
