Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the criminal petition with a request to make certain observations with regard to the termination of the petitioner from the service.

If the said observation is made, it is unwarranted. However, it is left open to the petitioner to approach competent authority as per law to redress his grievance. Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

Pending miscellaneous petitions in the petition, if any, shall stand closed.
