This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of police, in registering crime on the petitioners' complaint dated 28.07.2013, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the purpose of filing of the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
