B.Sujanamma v. The A.P. Womens Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.4269 OF 2002 ORDER:
1.
When this matter is taken up for hearing, Sri J.S. Raju, learned Standing Counsel for A.P. Women's Co-operative Finance Corporation Limited, submits that the petitioner has expired on 11.4.2008 and therefore, the cause in this writ petition does not survive.
2.
The relief claimed by the petitioner is to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents Nos.1 and 2 in not permitting her to sign in the attendance register and not paying her salary, as illegal and arbitrary.
3.
Since the petitioner expired, the question of directing the respondents to permit her to sign in the attendance register cannot be granted. However, if any salary of the deceased petitioner is due to be paid by the respondents, the same shall be paid to the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner, if they submit a representation seeking such relief.
4.
With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
