HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY WRIT PETITION No.19227 OF 2014 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the termination order passed by the 5th respondent in culmination of his regular departmental enquiry for his unauthorized absence for a period of 5 years without obtaining any kind of leave, before going abroad. However, the Appeal and Review preferred by the petitioner against the order passed by the 5th respondent ended in dismissal but, at the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 16.05.2014, pending before him, and pass appropriate orders therein; whereas, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents though contended that his representation had already been disposed of but unable to produce any material to substantiate his contention.

In these circumstances, the ends of justice would be met if the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation dated 16.05.2014, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if it is not yet disposed of. Accordingly, with the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

In consequence, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _______________________________ M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY, J Date: 19-04-2016.
