ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A2 to A4 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.98 of 2016 of Kushaiguda Police Station, Cyberabad District, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 IPC, against them.

2. A1 is the husband of the de facto complainant. It is alleged in the complaint that A1 with the support of his family members i.e., petitioners/A2 to A4 used to harass the de facto complainant physically and mentally by abusing her in filthy language and beating her and her children and threaten her with dire consequences. A1 had illicit intimacy with one Priyanka. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against A1 to A4.

3. In view of the allegations made in the complaint and also the nature of proceedings, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without making arrest of petitioners/A2 to A4 and file a final report, if any.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
