Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Higher Education (TG) for the respondents.

Petitioners claim that they have been working as part time Junior lecturers since 1994-95 and claim that their services should be regularized. Petitioners placed reliance on the decision of Hon'ble Supreme Court in State of Karnataka Vs Umadevi and others1. Petitioners earlier submitted a representation on 28.08.2018 praying to grant regularization.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave of the Court to make a detailed representation praying to grant regularization. 4.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to petitioners to submit a detailed representation to the Commissioner of Intermediate Education2nd respondent. If such a representation is made by the petitioners, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same, if required may place the matter before the Government for passing appropriate orders. The respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, by assigning due reasons in support of the decision within two (2) months from 1 2006 (4) SCC 1

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
