HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.37611 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not taking up the revision petition and stay application filed by the petitioner under Section 9 of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, "the Act"), against the order dated 30.4.2018 in ROR Appeal No.19 of 2017, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner, at the earliest. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-District Collector to pass appropriate orders in the revision filed by the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If the 2nd respondent is not inclined to pass orders in the appeal within the time fixed, the 2nd respondent shall pass orders in the stay petition filed along with the revision within a period of four weeks from today. Till passing of orders in the stay, status quo existing as on today, shall be maintained with regard to the subject property. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
