There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents No.1 to 7 herein calling the Petitioner to the police station P.S. Musheerabad, Chikkadpally Division, Hyderabad, and asked the petitioners to handover a converted major girl to which the petitioners stood witness at the time of her embracing Islam otherwise they would book false cases against the petitioners herein and would subject them to continuous harassment for production of girl as such the action of respondents are illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, without jurisdiction and also violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300A of the Constitution of India and issue a consequential direction to the respondents No.1 to 7 herein and not to call the petitioners herein to the Police Station and not to threaten them to book false cases and pass such other order or orders."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 6 placed on record the written instructions, dated 24.12.2013, issued by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Musheerabad Police Station, Hyderabad.

From the perusal of the said written instructions, it is revealed that as per the record no case of whatsoever is registered against the petitioners on the file of the Musheerabad Police Station, Hyderabad.

Therefore, in the absence of registration of any crime against the petitioners, visiting the house of the petitioners does not arise. It is also further stated that neither the 5th respondent nor any of the constables from the 5th respondent-police station visited the houses of the petitioners. However, as a precautionary measure to prevent the police from taking any action in the event of lodging any complaint against them, the present writ petition is filed with baseless allegations. It is also specifically stated that the petitioners are not at all required in any case registered on the file of the Musheerabad Police Station. If any cognizable complaint is received against them, action will be taken by following due process of law. 5.

In view of the said facts and contentions, this Court is of the opinion that there are no merits in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No costs.
