THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI Writ Petition No.16795 of 2012 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief/s: 'To issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not allocating 20% of the annual budget of the GHMC to the works identified by the Ward Committees as per the rules framed under G.O.Ms.No.57, dated 10.02.2010 as illegal, arbitrary and consequently declare that the ward committees of the GHMC are entitled for allocation of 20% of the annual budget for the maintenance works identified by the ward committees forthwith and to pass such other order or orders'.

I have perused the material record. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondentCorporation submits that the writ petition has become infructuous as the cause in the writ petition relates to the year 2010 and the same now does not survive for adjudication.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
