ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction of the 2nd respondent in considering the case of the petitioner for notional promotion to the post of Senior Assistant and Superintendent on par with his junior pursuant to the recommendations made by the Inspector of Endowments vide letter dated 7.6.2014 and also the recommendations made by the 4th respondent as arbitrary and illegal.

When the matter is taken up consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the Inspector, Endowments Department, Vijayawada, addressed a letter dated 7.6.2014 to the Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department, Vijayawada-4th respondent, recommending the case of the petitioner for promotion and the 4th respondent also addressed a letter dated 11.6.2014 to the Commissioner, Endowments Department, Hyderabad-2nd respondent, recommending the case of the petitioner for notional promotion to the post of Senior Assistant from 20.04.2010 and as Superintendent from 4.4.2014. Even after lapse of two years, no orders have been passed by the 2nd respondent.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to issue necessary orders pursuant to the letter of the 4th respondent dated 11.6.2014, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
