THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Crl.M.P.No.17695 of 2014 in Crl.P.No.16438 of 2014 and Crl.P.No.16438 of 2014 COMMON ORDER:

The de-facto complainant and her counsel Sri Ch. Vidyasagar Rao are present. Accused and their counsel Sri T. Subhash Reddy are present.

Heard both sides and perused the petition.

The Mahabubnagar Police filed charge sheet in FIR No.37 of 2014 against the accused for the offences under Section 324 r/w 34 IPC. It is submitted by both the parties that at the intervention of elders, parties have settled the matter in respect of offence under Section 324 r/w 34 IPC in C.C.No.410 of 2014 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, at Wanaparthy, Mahabubnagar District and entered into a compromise and hence compromise may be recorded and criminal proceedings in C.C.No.410 of 2014 may be quashed in the interest of justice. Having regard to the above submission and considering the fact that it is a financial matter and no useful purpose will be served even if the parties are driven to the trial since they compromised and following the decision reported in Gian Singh v. State of Punjab and another[1] this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed and compromise is recorded and consequently, proceedings in C.C.No.410 of 2014 on the file of Judicial

First Class Magistrate, at Wanaparthy, Mahabubnagar are quashed.

In the result, both the Petitions are accordingly disposed of.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
