ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with the following prayer:
"To issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not providing police protection to the petitioner to cultivate the petitioners land admeasuring Ac.1-21⁄4 gts covered by S.No.461/A and 461/AA of Ensanpally, Siddipet mandal as illegal, arbitrary."
2. When the matter is called today, written instructions dated 7.6.2014 furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Siddipet Rural Police Station, Medak district have been placed on record by the learned Government Pleader. In the said instructions, it is stated that the petitioner herein did not approach the Respondent Police Station nor lodged any petition seeking police protection.
3. In the absence of any complaint/petition by the petitioner herein, no directions can be given to the respondent police in the present writ petition. However, it is open for the petitioner herein to make necessary complaint/petition to the respondent police, if so advised.
4. For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is closed, with a liberty to the petitioner herein to make necessary complaint/petition to the Respondent Police for redressal of her grievance and the Respondent Police shall act on the same, in accordance with law. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
