Heard Sri K. Sai Krishna Mohan Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Transport and Sri P. Durga Prasad, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 to 4.

2. The petitioner is the only daughter of late Rapuri Subrahmanyam, who worked as driver in the respondent-Corporation and died due to ill-health on 18.09.2007 while in service. At the time of the death of her father, the petitioner was aged 17 years only. After she became major, she made several representations to the Corporation seeking appointment on compassionate grounds. Last representation is dated 24.08.2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though as per the Bread Winner Scheme of the Corporation, she is entitled for appointment on compassionate grounds but the respondents have not been considering the same. Hence, she filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds.

3. Having gone through the submissions on either side, Respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the representation dated 24.08.2015 submitted by the petitioner, where under she sought appointment on compassionate grounds, and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with Bread Winner Scheme of the Corporation, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of at the stage of admission. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
