THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.C. BHANU WRIT PETITION No.14636 of 2015 ORDER:

The relief sought in the Writ Petition is as follows: "...........declare the seizure of the Rice 31790 Kgs, and 23050 Kgs valued Rs.3,47,750/- along with Lorry bearing No.AP29 U 1885 by conducting panchanama dated 1.4.2015 is illegal, arbitrary, improper without any power or authority under law."

As the alleged vehicle and the stock have been seized by the authorities concerned, there is no impediment for releasing of the same provided the petitioners furnish bank guarantee.

Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioners to approach the authorities concerned for furnishing bank guarantee to the value of the stock as well as the value of the vehicle to be estimated by them for releasing of the same. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending shall also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
