THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.3054 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed assailing the demand notice dated 18.05.2015 issued by the Assistant Director of Mines & Geology (Vigilance) Gooty, Anantapuramu District.

Challenge to this demand notice appears to be on merits and not on any ground relating to violation of the principles of natural justice or jurisdiction. As an efficacious alternative remedy is provided to the petitioner under the statute, it is not open to him to invoke the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court in the first instance. The writ petition is therefore dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
