When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was promoted as Senior D.E (E-5 Grade) and thereafter, retired from service and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
