HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Writ Petition No.45917 of 2016 O R D E R :

The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ or order, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not registering a crime pursuant to complaint dated 16-10-2016 of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct respondents to register a crime pursuant to complaint dated 16-10-2016. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and perused the material available on record.

The complaint of the petitioner does not disclose any material facts which necessitate the Investigation Officer to investigate the case. Hence, this Court is of the view that there is nothing to interfere with the action of respondents herein.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed.
