CVNR,J & MSKJ,J WP.44183 of 2016 THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY & THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE M.S.K.JAI SWAL WRI T PETI TI ON No.44183 of 2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus by directing respondents Nos.2 to 5 to produce N.Suresh Reddy, son-in-law of the petitioner, in the court.

At the hearing, Sri Kummathi Venkatesulu, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the said N.Suresh Reddy (for short "the detenu"), who was taken into illegal custody by respondent No.5 on 09.12.2016, was released by the police on 16.12.2016.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, however, denied the alleged detenu being taken into illegal custody. In view of the fact that the alleged detenu was stated to have been released after the filing of the writ petition, it is not necessary for us to adjudicate the dispute as to whether the alleged detenu was taken into custody or not.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents have been interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner and the alleged detenu. If, they have any grievance in this regard, they shall be free to avail appropriate legal remedies.
