O R D E R

The petitioner has made an application on 7.3.2016 to the 3rd respondent - Tahsildar, Visakhapatnam Rural Mandal, Visakhapatnam for change of his name in on-line data in respect of land in an extent of Acs.3-22 cents in Sy.No.223/2 of Madhuravada Village, Visakhapatnam Rural Mandal, Visakhapatnam. Aggrieved by the inaction of the 3rd respondent in disposing of the said application, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 3rd respondent may be directed to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner dated 7.3.2016.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader seeks time for instructions.

Having regard to the above facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent - Tahsildar, Visakhapatnam Rural Mandal, Visakhapatnam, to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 7.3.2016 in accordance with law.

No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
