Petitioner is a Gram Panchayat. The affidavit is deposed by Smt. Dasari Sulochana claiming as Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat. 3.

As fairly submitted by learned counsel for petitioner and also by learned Standing Counsel for Gram Panchayat, petitioner ceased to be the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat on completion of tenure by the time the Writ Petition is filed and she is no way concerned with the Gram Panchayat. The Writ Petition cannot be entertained, as Ex-Sarpanch cannot represent the Gram Panchayat after completion of tenure.

The Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed on that ground and is accordingly dismissed. However, this order does not come in the way of Gram Panchayat prosecuting the claim for amounts payable to it through authorized person. Similarly, Smt.
