This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.2-Station House Officer, II Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam in not registering a crime against respondent Nos.3 and 4 pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner on 04.10.2016.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that Crime No.2 of 2017 was registered by respondent No.2 on 04.01.2017 and investigation is under progress. In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
