HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 37777 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.3 in considering the application dated 09.11.2017 for mutation and for appointment of Surveyor to demarcate the land, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

3) Though the petitioner is seeking a direction for mutation of his name in the revenue records and for appointment of a Surveyor for conducting survey of the subject land, he restricts his prayer seeking mutation only. The case of the petitioner is that though he has made an application on 09.11.2017 seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records, the same is not considered by the respondents till date.

4) The Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the petitioner is required to make a suitable application in Form-6A through online, in which event the same will be considered in accordance with law.

5) Giving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh application as per Form-6A, the present writ petition is disposed of. In the event of such an application being made by the petitioner, the

authorities shall examine the same and pass orders in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably, within a period of ten to twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the said application.
