THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2754 OF 2018 ORDER:

There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, on 13.12.2019. Today also there is no representation. 2.

In W.P.No.19451 of 2018, this Court directed releasing of retirement benefits of the petitioner withholding an amount of Rs.2,31,000/- within a period of six weeks. Alleging that the said order is violated, this contempt case is filed. 3.

In the counter affidavit, Sri K.Jogeswara Rao working as General manager (Admn), Girijan Co-operative Corporation Limited, states that petitioner was paid an amount of Rs.3,46,938/- vide cheque No.000189 dated 05.10.2018, towards gratuity and petitioner acknowledged the receipt of the said amount. This amount was paid after deducting an amount of Rs.3,061-90 paise, as certain amounts were due from him. 4.

In view thereof, it cannot be said that there is violation of the directions of this court, warranting initiation of contempt proceedings.
