HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1778 of 2015 ORDER:

After hearing both sides, at the admission stage, the following order is passed.

Having regard to the fact that the investigation is in progress, it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings. Whether the accused have cheated the complainant in a dispute relating to land or not is to be decided only after thorough investigation is completed. Therefore, the investigation shall proceed continuously to its legitimate end. However, the Police of Anantapur Rural are directed not to arrest the petitioners/accused during the course of investigation. The petitioner/accused shall cooperate with the Investigating Agency for smooth completion of investigation.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
