Heard Sri Thomas Joseph Lloyd, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri A.Ravi Babu, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not disposing of the appeal, dated 07.08.2015. filed by the petitioner against the orders of the third respondent in No.PA/19(136)/2015, DY.CTM.N., dated 05.07.2015, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice.
The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though he filed the appeal on 07.08.2015, till date no orders are passed by the respondents and hence seeks a direction.
Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the request made, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the respondents to dispose of the appeal dated 07.08.2015 filed by the petitioner against the orders of the third respondent in No.PA/19(136)/2015 DY.CTM.N, dated 05.07.2015, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a
period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
