THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO WRIT PETITION No.23859 of 2014 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in proposing to retire the petitioners on attaining the age of superannuation on completion of 58 years without extending the benefit conferred by the first respondent in G.O.Ms.No.147 Finance (HRM-IV) Department dated 30.06.2014, as illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the respondents to continue the petitioners in service till completion of 60 years of age in terms of G.O.Ms.NO.147 Finance (HRM-IV) Department dated 30.06.2014.

Heard both sides.

The issue involved in the present writ petition is covered by the common order passed by this Court in W.P.No.16190 of 2015 & batch wherein this Court held that the petitioners therein who are similarly situated as the petitioners in the present case are not entitled for the extended age of superannuation of 60 years.

The writ petition is also disposed of in terms of the ratio laid down in the aforesaid batch of writ petitions.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
