Nirogi Giridhar v. The Chairman-And-Managing Director,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO Writ Petition No.31928 of 2015 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 1st respondent in not disposing of the appeal dated 25.06.2015 preferred by the petitioner against the dismissal order dated 03.04.2014 passed by the 2nd respondent, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3. The petitioner was dismissed from service vide order dated 03.04.2014 of the 2nd respondent. Against the said order of dismissal, he preferred an appeal to the 1st respondent on 25.06.2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 1st respondent has to dispose of the said appeal within sixty days as per the rules of the bank, but he is not taking any steps for hearing and disposing of the appeal.
4. Under these circumstances, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal dated 25.06.2015 filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to him, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. __________________ R. KANTHA RAO, J Date: 01.10.2015 BSS HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO
